This caused has increased due to the increase in calorie –intake and decrease in physical activity. Current research studies key points areas to focus on with obesity is on the health disparities. These disparities include cultural, social economic status, and educational background This disease defiantly is more prevalent among individuals who have a decrease in social economic problems in the United States. Many individuals that cannot afford food are where the problem is the biggest. It is easier to buy a cheeseburger for $1.20 verse fresh fruit and vegetables for $10. When individuals cannot afford healthier foods, there is an increased risk of diseases appear and become worse.
